My Goal for Ubuntu is compatability with Windows

I am starting to use Ubuntu Linux on my home built computer. I love using this new operating system.
I like it better than Windows XP.
I post some snags that some people might run into when they try Ubuntu. There isn't anything that Ubuntu willl not do. If you are having trouble with anything email me and I will try to help. Look at my posts and you might find out how to fix a problem you are having. My goal is to find a way to do anything windows can do. So far in my adventures it is compatible.

I see capability as a better goal than compatibility. Ubuntu is more capable than Windows, in my opinion. Compatibility for the sake of compatibility serves no real purpose.

If you're talking about compatibility between document file formats, that's one thing. Compatible with software? That isn't always the way to go, because often there is even better software already available for Ubuntu, making it more capable than Windows, without necessarily being compatible.
